Mini SAS SFF-8643 to 4 SATA 7Pin Hard Disk Data Cable is designed to connect 4 SATA hard drives to the existing SAS ports of a motherboard or RAID controller.

SFF-8643 is the host, which is connected to the motherboard or RAID controller through the mini SAS port.NOTE:Please make sure Mini SAS (SFF-8643) on your motherboard or RAID controller. If the Mini SAS (SFF-8643) on your backplane, this cable will not work with them.

4x7pin SATA is the target, connect to the hard drives with SATA port.

The 4 x 7-pin SATA connector provides 3 Gbps and 6 Gbps compatibility and will allow a smooth transition from 6GB to 12GB.

Compatible with 2.5", 3.5" SATA I, II, III hard drives.

The internal HD Mini-SAS 8643 to 4 x SATA cable is an important component of the migration from 6 Gbps to 12 Gbps storage area network. It provides multiple high-speed SATA traffic channels through a single cable in a sturdy and flexible cable.
